Detailed review. What you get ...

Every once and a while, as a reviewer, I get excited about a new site; DeansBoys.com has got me excited in more ways than one. From what I could gather from a little research, the site was launched in March of 2007.

Upon first entering the site, you are greeted by a picture of Dean Berkeley, who runs this site and also appears in some of the videos. I really like the design and layout of the preview area. You are presented with 6 of the videos included in the members' area, and a free trailer from each that gives you a good idea of the hot action you will find inside.

Now these guys are amateurs, but they are some hot looking guys. You are given a brief introduction to the models and the scene such as:

"This scene is one of the first scenes that I ever filmed. I couldn't have gotten two better guys together for this. These guys were totally into each other, had some amazing chemistry, and some steaming hot sex! Watch as Kanyon works Brycen completely over and gets Brycen really working his ass on to Kanyon's cock."

As my excitement, increased (and grew), I clicked on the members entrance to see if this site could live up to its preview area. The members' area is broken down into the following sections: Pictures, Videos, Blog, Bonus, Live Shows, Links and Store. My first stop was the videos area.

You are presented with 19 videos, 8 of which are duo action. The videos are of very good quality, even when viewed in full screen the quality was good. The content is exclusive to the site. Each video is broken down into clips for easier streaming to your computer.

When you reach the photo section of the site, things take a turn. There area about 14 galleries here in this section. The first thing is that a majority of these picture galleries are just still shots from the video section. It looks like the first 5 sets are from actual photo shoots and not stills from the videos.

The feeling I got from the photo section was that of being on a TGP (Thumbnail Gallery Post). Each thumbnail leads to the picture itself in its own window with no formatting or navigation. There is no automated slideshow function and no previous or next buttons to go through the pictures. The webmaster needs to correct this situation, as it takes away from the site.

The pictures themselves, even the still shots from the videos are of excellent quality however. I really enjoyed the galleries of Michael Cresthill. I must agree with Bean on him "Michael Cresthill is absolutely fucking HOT! I love his look, his abs everything."

With this site being new (March 2007) the webmaster has done the right thing in offering members 5 additional feeds in the bonus section. This will definitely help retain membership as content is added to the site. The bonus section contains video feeds and pictures from such sites as: He Likes IT Big!, His First Gay Experience, Gay Blind Date XXX, Twinks for Cash XXX, His First Facial XXX and Wild Gay College Parties.

In the Blog section Dean keeps the members informed about his site. It seems that he does at least 2 posts a month to the blog. The links and the store section are self explanatory.

The site claims "Frequently updated members area!". All of the content is dated, and as far as I can tell, it seems that the site is updated 2 times a month to both the video and photo section.

The section "Live Shows" is really hard to explain. Over the course of the review, when I clicked on this section, It was a feed of a window shade. There is no explanation of what the live shows are or what the schedule for them is either. It would be nice to know.

All in all, I love the content this site has to offer. I wish the webmaster would put together the members section with the detail found in the Members' Area. The photo gallery section needs some work. The webmaster should explain the Live Show section so as to know what is to be expected. The content, however, is outstanding and excellent.

Conclusion

For being a newer site (5 months), I must applaud this site of the quality of the content that they offer. The amateur guys they offer on this site are hot. This site has me excited, because the potential this site has is excellent.
