Theatre Royal Stratford 26th April – 25 May 2013.

GUTTED is a fast-paced, powerful new play by Rikki Beadle-Blair. Set on the council estates of South East London, this is a story about love, family and sordid secrets told through the eyes of four brothers. When the eldest brother comes out of rehab he embarks on a truth-telling mission that triggers an unstoppable family meltdownand. In an explosive 24 hours, years of denial are uncovered and life will never be the same again.
A thought-provoking and complex drama, GUTTED reveals Beadle-Blair at his best. This is daring, shocking and intensely emotional work infused with warmth and humour.

Award-winning Rikki Beadle-Blair first entertained audiences at Theatre Royal Stratford East with the sell-out 2005 success Bashment, returning with the hugely entertaining Familyman in 2008 and the acclaimed Shalom Baby in 2011. His other plays include FIT, which, along with Bashment, has been turned into a feature film.

Suitable for aged 16+

GUTTED embraces adult themes. It contains extremely strong language and scenes of a sexual nature.
